Holland Homes is a 114-unit senior adult independent living community located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.   The property consists entirely of 114 one-bedroom units providing housing to senior adult residents of the region.  The rental rates are based on a HUD formula calculated mainly on the household income minus qualified deductions for medical expenses and other criteria.   Holland Homes recently completed a total site rehab which modernized every unit interior and exterior with new energy-efficient appliances, carpeting, cabinets, bathrooms and kitchen upgrades.

Although we work from a waiting list, we encourage you to contact us if you have a housing need.   Holland Homes is a great place to live, located near shopping with a bus line stopping along the adjacent street.  Holland Homes employs a Resident Services Coordinator as well to help make your home even more enjoyable socially.

Lets Welcome 2018!!!! Happy New Year

​Happy New Year to everyone associated with the Holland Homes Community.  We had an outstanding 2017 and I look forward to an even brighter 2018.  In 2017 we had seven members to leave our community but we welcomed eight new residents.  We doubled our laundry room capacity at both sites by adding new card reader washers and dryers.  We also improved the security of the laundry room by giving every resident their own personal key card.  This year we hope to add a conference room on the File Street side. I am also grateful to MANY members in our community for the way you look out and care for each other.  I know sometimes it may seem annoying and I’ve heard the word “signifying” used a lot.  But there are many residents here whose lives or possessions may have been spared because of the concern and quick action of neighbors.  So this is the spirit that I want us to continue and what hopefully will make you proud to live here.
